Monk is joined by Charlie Rouse, tenor, John Ore, bass, and Frankie Dunlop, drums, playing “Nutty”, “Bemsha Swing”, “Epistrophy”, “Crepuscule With Nellie” and “I Mean You” in Bussum, Holland, April 15, 1961. “Bemsha”, or “Bimshire”, is a nickname for the Caribbean island of Barbados, where Best’s family originally lived.
