Remember Ibragim Todashev? Well, maybe you don’t, but he was another unarmed man, shot and killed, this time by an FBI agent, back in May of this year, part of the aftermath of the Boston bombing. Ibragim appears to have been an acquaintance of Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, both also shot by law enforcement agents, though Dzhokhar, also unarmed, managed to survive.
At the time of Ibragim’s death, the FBI said, of course, that they were “investigating,” though it didn’t seem like there was much to investigate. Well, the mills of the Bureau grind exceeding slow if not exceeding fine, so there hasn’t been a word out of the J. Edgar building for the past six weeks. But I’m sure that the feds will get to the bottom of this sometime. Maybe.
Update
Actually, there was going to be news regarding Ibragim. Florida was about to release the autopsy report on his death. But the FBI said no. Too much information only confuses people.
