Slate has a disgusting article by two Republican lawyer goons, Lee Casey and David Rivkin Jr., who served under Ronnie and George I, denouncing those damn judges who take seriously Justice Anthony Kennedy’s “oft-quoted statement that to free the president and Congress from judicial supervision would amount to a holding that ‘the political branches have the power to switch the Constitution on and off at will.’”
It’s a free country, and a free Internet, and Slate can publish any damn article it pleases, but I wonder why Slate’s editors felt we needed to hear this Cheneyite crap one more time. Frankly, I’d rather read Mickey Kaus, currently in ecstasy over poor John Edwards’ latest confession.
