How do you “sweep” two states?* Especially since Rick “God Hates Homos” Santorum barely won a third of the votes in Alabama, and less than a third in Mississippi, beating Newt “Just a Fat Prick from Georgia” Gingrich by less than 2 percent of the votes. But, hey, I’ll take it, and so will the Times. Reporters notoriously love horse races, and I notoriously love to see Republicans beat each other up.
Rick must be thinking that he could clean Romney’s clock in a two-man race. Newt must be thinking that he could clean Santorum’s clock in a two-man race. Romney must be wondering how many asses he has to kiss to get this job. Obama must be thinking that it’s about fucking time the Republicans did him a favor.
