Well, at least it gives us something trivial to talk about, unlike his beloved “stop n’ frisk program,” which could be more aptly called his “stop n’ frisk n’ arrest n’ imprison young black and Hispanic dudes” program, and which, sadly, is far less trivial. Amidst all the babble, what is saddest to hear are words of praise from liberals like Timothy Noah, pleased that at least somebody is regulating something—if not Wall Street, then at least soda pop.

As Mayor Bloomberg explains here, we don’t need to regulate Wall Street, because our economic woes are all the federal government’s fault.
