Okay, I did not see this coming. The Wash Post’s David Ignatius, often regarded as the CIA’s press agent, has apparently decided that he needs a new job, perhaps because, these days, the CIA ain’t shit. So Dave is going with the flow, which, judging from his latest column, means sucking up to presidential son in law Jared Kushner, “the secret emissary, the evaluator of talent, the whisperer of confidential advice” in today’s White House. In other words, an ass worth kissing.
Afterwords
Many of Dave’s commenters, including myself, think that Dave sounds like a fool crushin’ on Jared, a man as qualified to be a presidential advisor as Donald Trump is to be president. On the other hand, Dave has been kissing DC ass for a long, long time. Maybe the man knows what he’s doing.
