Over at the National Review, Rich Lowry pens this description/putdown of likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney in action: “In such circumstances it’s as if he doesn’t see persons, only disembodied data points to be slotted into his hard drive so he can download the appropriate response.”
Why is the word “drive” underlined? Well, if you click on it (at the National Review, not here) an ad for Mobil 1 motor oil pops up. I don’t know if this happens every time the word “drive” appears in a National Review article, but as a means for maximizing return, it’s hard to beat.
Drive, he said. Drive! Drive! Drive!
