One can hope that reaction to this latest outrage will be the first step in the long struggle to recoup our civil liberties, shredded almost beyond recall by this most transparent of Administrations—most transparently shameless, that is. Republicans may want to stop huffing and puffing about the IRS and what Susan Rice said about Benghazi just long enough to denounce this latest outrage, particularly if they can get some assistance from the other side of the aisle. I for one am happy to join with Rand Paul on this one. I’ll even ignore his lame potshots at Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice,* for the duration.
*Paul continues to “play Republican” on the Benghazi murders, even though the person he really should be blaming is General Petraeus. But one thing at a time.
