Newt Gingrich owes $451,946.00 to Moby Dick Airways LTD, according to papers Newt’s campaign filed with the Federal Election Commission. That’s almost half of the campaign’s total debt. Of course, at this point in a campaign, the idea is to have cash rather than debt. Naturally, Newt blames all his problems on someone else: the dudes who quit his campaign a couple of weeks ago, claiming that Newt was more interested in promoting his various books and films than actually running for President. Oh, and a few people suggested that he seemed too fond of flying around the country in a private jet.
